1. Who Operates This Website

Ground Truth Guides is operated by Vitali B., an individual.

I can be contacted at hello@groundtruthguides.com, at the customer support address given in purchase receipts and in the guide, or at the mailing address provided below.

This Privacy Notice explains how I handle personal information received through GroundTruthGuides.com, purchases of my digital guides, and direct communications with me.

2. Information Collected Through the Website

The website is intended to be a simple informational site. I do not use website accounts or advertising networks. The only form connected to the site is the optional feedback form described in section 5.

My hosting provider, Hostinger, may automatically process technical information when someone visits the website. This may include IP addresses, browser and device information, request timestamps, requested pages, and security or diagnostic logs.

Website analytics. I use Google Analytics (provided by Google) to understand how many people visit the website, which pages they view, and roughly where visitors come from. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device type, and how a visitor reached the site. I do not use this data for advertising, and I have turned off Google’s optional data-sharing settings. Google processes this information under its own privacy policy. You can opt out by blocking cookies in your browser settings or by installing Google’s browser opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

This information may be processed to deliver the website, maintain its functionality, diagnose technical problems, and protect against abuse or unauthorized access.

IP addresses and other technical information may constitute personal data under applicable privacy laws. The information collected and how long it is retained depend on the hosting configuration and the provider’s applicable policies.

3. Purchases and Order Information

Purchases are processed through Gumroad. Gumroad handles checkout and payment processing and acts as the merchant of record for eligible sales.

I do not directly collect customers’ full payment-card details through my website.

Gumroad may make certain order and customer information available to me, depending on the transaction and its systems. This may include your email address, the guide purchased, purchase date, order details, and transaction information.

Copies of a guide may include the purchaser’s email address or order information as a deterrent against unauthorized sharing.

I use information made available to me for purposes such as:

4. Emails and Direct Communications

If you email hello@groundtruthguides.com, I will process the email address, message contents, and other information you voluntarily provide to respond to your inquiry or provide customer support.

I do not currently send marketing newsletters or use support emails for unrelated promotional purposes. If you ask me to notify you about future products, services, free tips, or discounts, I will use your address only for that, and you can ask me to stop at any time.

Please avoid sending sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary to resolve your inquiry.

5. Optional Feedback Form

If you choose to use the optional feedback form, your answer and any comment you write are processed by Tally (tally.so). I use them only to improve the guide. Please don’t include sensitive personal information.

6. How Personal Information Is Used

By contacting me or purchasing a guide, you understand that your information may be processed outside your country.

I retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Notice, subject to any longer period required by law.

These rights are subject to applicable legal requirements and exceptions. Some information may need to be retained to comply with legal obligations or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Gumroad separately handles requests concerning information it processes for its own purposes under its privacy policy. Where Gumroad processes information on my behalf, requests concerning that processing may be directed to me as the relevant seller.

I take reasonable steps appropriate to a small digital-product business to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.

However, no website, email service, or method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

The products are intended for adults aged 18 or older. I do not knowingly seek to collect personal information directly from children through the website.

If you believe a child has provided me with personal information, please contact me so that I can review the situation and take appropriate action where required by law.

13. Changes to This Notice

I may update this Privacy Notice when the website, business practices, service providers, or applicable legal requirements change. The revised version will be published on the website with an updated date.
